Hi all,
Have got all the cruise control parts of a MK2 gasser and was planning on retrofitting it to my AAZ, but as the throttle postition bellow is designed for the petrol I'll need to make a bracket for the pump.
Does anybody have a pic of a 1.9TD AAZ pump with VAG cruise control fitted so I can get an idea about what the bracket looks like?
Cheers
Al

At least in North America the AAZ were only delivered on the A3 (Jetta/Golf) or B4 (Passat) chassis... in that configuration the cruise control vacuum bellows were relocated to act directly on the accelerator pedal itself inside the cabin.
So, not able to send you a picture that helps you much... at least from this side of the pond!

Hmmm, thats interesting, I hadn't considered putting it throttle side. The cruise control system I actually got came from the US, after much hunting here, worked out cheaper that way!
What about MK 2 diesel engined cars...? Any body got any pics of them?
On Vag cat, it shows the AAZ with a cruse control bellow fitted to the pump, but its not really clear how it attaches :(
