Title: cam swap 5 pot tdi = 5 pot idi ?

need some help on this one , will a cam shaft from a diesel 2.4 5 pot idi fit the 5 pot TDI diesel engine  and be able to take the pully to so it will run the fuel pump ,  and dose the idi cam shaft have a nicer profile than the tdi one

the IDI also has the pump pulley on that side, it should work

i think it will work, IDI shaft will possibly giv it a little more power too

chears rich , the cam in my 5 pot tdi is broke so on the look for a nother and the 5 pot idi seams to be more common and cheaper to went to get one and it was broke to  :cry:  but i will get one soon  :wink:
