will mk2 front coils go into mk 1 front struts?
-
PM 91redjetta He's done it to both of his MKI rabbit trucks.

They will but it will lift the car about 2 inches. If you properly cut the coils, the ride height will be similar and the springs will be stiffer than A1 springs.
By properly cutting, I mean either with a cold saw, or doing it with a cutoff wheel while the spring is in a bucket of water. If they get heated up too much, they become useless.

no.... you're not cool unless your ride bounces profusely after every piece of rice you drive over
(yes the "rice" reference is meant for all those dumb civic's)

heres how a civic owner must think, " I just got this 92 POS hatchback...to Canadian Tire to get teh BIGGEST muffler they have and a set of spinner hub caps...Now I Own the fastest civic in town"

changed mine out and it did indeed lift the front end about 2 inches. a set of helper springs and some air shocks evened out the back though. really helped the stance. looks pissed all the time now.
