Title: Pump assembly (timed right)
Post by: Rabbit TD on April 11, 2009, 08:41:30 pm
I can't find any information on the pump assembly about making sure you don't get it 180 out when putting it togerther.  When I assembled it I had the notch or keyway on the mainshaft pointing straight up and the drive pin on the back of the camplate for the plunger also pointing straight up, is that the right way or do I have it 180 out now.  When I took it apart I didn't notice it was posssible to get it backwards.  Other than that all is well.  I don't want to take this thing off just for that when I can change it now if need be.  Thanks'

Thanks again for your answer,  without the help from you and others in the past sharing their knowlege and time posting pics and links to things, myself and others would never have the courage to attempt some of these things.  I would never have even considered taking a pump apart a year ago or even knew where to get a picture of it's internals.  Thanks again and Happy Easter to All here on the Forum.

you have guts, with that many parts I couldn't imagine getting it back together without the dreaded "hm looks like I have a left over part.... now I wonder were that goes".
