Title: Toyota 3B
Post by: Wayland on April 03, 2009, 05:28:24 pm
Anyone know anything about the Toyota 3B in the old Landcruisers? My neighbor has an old BJ60 with a rotten body he's offered to trade me for something. I'm thinking the motor might make a nice swap into something.

It's not a turbo. I'm not sure, but I don't think any of the early 4 cyl cruisers were turbo, but maybe the 6's were?

All the 3B's i've ever played with were NA stock but take to turboing very nicely. Argueably one of the best diesel engines ever made, by Izuzu BTW.
