Just to give you an idea, I used Canadian military surplus camo beige turned out something like this.

Its not a Tank, but it has scared a person or two.

I like model master 2050. I almost painted my junk bass guitar something real close to that. I sold it, but I saw a guy that did that to a bass of his and it looked cool. I was going to put one big white star on the top rear of it...maybe you could do the same on the hood/roof area if there is room beside the turret  .

I think I paid about 8$ a for a quart. I didn't love the look at first, but it has grown on me to the point where The Bomber(as I call her) will probably never get a fancy paint job.

I have used this stuff before.  Painted my humvee and my track with it in a previous life.  CARC.  Chemical Agent Resistant Coating.  I did some god awful things to those vehicles and the only time the paint chipped was when there was a serious metal on metal impact.

I would go for the dessert tan.

"We use CARC paints everyday both tan and green. Yes it is very toxic and you would plenty of ventilation and a good respirator. In order for the paint to last you would also have to have the catalyst for the paints. I get ours from Sherwin Williams these are their part numbers.

CARC Green (P/N F93G504) MIL-DTL-64159 T11-GREEN about $75 to $90 per gallon
CARC Tan (P/N F93H504) MIL-DTL-64159 T11-TAN about $60 to $80 per gallon
CARC Catalyst (P/N V93V502) MIL-DTL-64159 CATALYST about $85 per gallon (but you probably wouldn't need more than a quart)

The prices I get on the paints are usually cheaper than the general public mainly cause of the volume I purchase. And to tell you the truth I'm not sure if they will let the general public buy MIL-Spec paints.

If you are able to get it the best mix ratio we have found is 2:1 (paint:catalyst)

...Also the paint surface should be very clean and primed well for the CARC to last."

Belive it or not you can order it from Sherman Williams.
