Is this what is known as an "Italian tune up"?

lol definitely not an Italian tune up!  the engine is supposed to run better afterwards  :lol:

i bet if you let that thing cool down, it'll start right back up again.

 I was kinda surprised too. But I guess it could have been toasted bad enough already. Here is a clip of a 240D Merc. that took a bit of a beating.

I wouldn't expect anything to last that long. It would have overheated fast without any airflow. The first one probably didn't even have coolant flowing. :(

so? ... im sure we all have imaginations. I don't care how "ruined" people say an engine is. If it runs enough to red line it's probably worth something to someone.
