Title: TDI intercooler on TD ?

Bought one off fleabay - £22.50 with all pipes including delivery!

     I think i know where it mounts but just want to confirm it.Under the battery tray area there are three holes on a vertical plate coming down from the chassis leg. The three holes have elongated slots on them at the 6 o clock position.
 I am guessing this is where the IC mounting bracket goes ?
    However , the mounting bracket only lines up with 2 of them.Is this because the tdi body is slightly different ?
     In my mind it is the only place it will fit, ideas/pics ?

hi, i fitted a tdi intercooler onto my mk3 golf td using the bracket. you may want to remove the two/three plastic gromets that hold the arch liner for ease of access.

Cheers chap! Did you find on the vertical mounting face of the bracket the two top bolts (one in each top corner of the bracket ) mounted ok , the third which is lower and sited in from the side didnt appear to line up.Is this standard ? Is the TDi + Td body slightly different ?

from what i can remember, the bracket fitted fine, two bolts at top one at bottom. mines an aaz on a 96plate and i didnt have no issues. i did have custom pipe work done as the original pipes didnt really work out too well.
