Title: FEQ brand A2 mounts any good?
Post by: wolf_walker on March 13, 2009, 09:45:03 am
They are cheap and all my first string supplier carries, I've had BAD luch with anything cheap for A1 mounts, but haven't put in an A2 in a decade now.  I do know the front is not hyd, it's solid from FEQ.  Thoughts?

the solid front mount seems to last forever... but the vibrations will be increased.  i prefer longevity, and can deal with the extra vibrations. good, good, good, good vibrations!  :roll:  :lol:

FEQ= "First Equipment Quality"

They're made in China, so take your chances.

But then again, EVERYTHING is made in China....

I'm pretty sure FEBI still makes rubber bits for the MK2. If you can find them or Meyle, you'll be much happier with fit and install.

I'm pretty damn gunshy after my last experience with A1 mounts, and that was just a gasser.  I think I'll keep hunting.
