port/polished AAZ head on a 1.6TD MF block
TDI ALH (P&P as well) intake
ported exhaust manifold
2.5" turbo back straight to where the cat would* be
T3 with no waste gate or BOV
Pretty old OEM nozzles (but they don't stick or knock)
Fueling supports 30psi (I think? I've never really put my foot into it but i've seen it spike up to 25++ and read similar builds that claimed 40!!!~then hoses broke [at 25] but that's been fixed now~).
gov modded with a solid sleeve
boost pin set to max fueling on boost with a true 1.6td pin
new bearings and new rings - honed of course
Can anyone take a wild guess at what a 1/4mile would be with that build in an '90 mk2 jetta?
It's lowered too (as if that matters...)
My friend's keep asking me and i have noooooooo idea and im too afraid to test it because i think i'll destroy my old CV's and or gears/clutch andi dont have any money to replace them if i break them.
I have a big volvo intercooler too that i can put on later when it warms up. Can anyone add/chip in what kind of differences intercooling would add in my application in regards to mileage, torque, and so on?
Thanks for reading. You don't have to be educated or anything :P just if you have an idea post post post!!! My guess is 15 - 16 seconds? am i being modest? top speed 180km/hr?
someone told me a while ago 150hp. but that was before i finished it and i don't remember what i had said.

Time slips will be somewhat dependent on gearing. What is your differential and what tranny are you runnin?
-
your car is most likely producing more torque with the added airflow. so you want a nice tall transmission for best results. (that turbo will rock you through the tall gears)
ballpart 150/160hp with 200 ft/lbs torque with the intercooler and high boost, and the right fueling. note that with this power level you're really pushing the motor, and thats where the head studs & mls gasket really come into play, holding everything together. i wouldn't go too much more than this power wise, if you want to keep driving it.
i'm guessing low 14's? possibly high 13's if you drive it like you stole it

WHOOPS! This isn't supposed to be in the TDI section! mods please move.
ps. I drive it like i stole it all the time though!
Okay thanks guys. That's way more than i had thought it would be. I dunno what tranny is in it... i would imagine the original?
with the added flow it sounds like a truck at low rpm under load. really throaty mean sounding for being 1600cc.
it sounds terrifying when it starts to boost. It makes like a harmonic inside the car and all you can hear is a very very deep buzz sort of hum sound. It's frightening. I took my dear mum for a rip around the block and she said she wasn't getting in it ever again and that i was likely disturbing the neighbors.
