Title: What kind of Injection Pump is this??
Post by: stugots on March 08, 2009, 08:12:51 am
I am wanting to find out what kind of pump I have on my AAZ 1.9 , previously had to replace the small block due to the AAZ crank problem and my old pump was leaking so my mechanic slapped this on, it looks much different than my old one and also there does not seem to be an idle screw to adjust the idle....any help would be great.  On another note I seem to have much more power.....[/size]

Sorry in advance if I posted in wrong section.

Yup... bog-standard AAZ pump.  Has the standard AAZ LDA, fast idle is vacuum controlled, although it appears to be disconnected at the moment... at least from these pictures.

Looks like your standard AAZ pump to me. Your old pump may have been worn out and that's why this one is faster.
