The AAB (2.4l engine) is an in-line 5 cylinder normally-aspirated engine... according to Wikipedia the stats are:

2.4 D    AAB    Straight-5 SOHC 10V    2.370 cm³    78 PS (77 hp/57 kW) at 3700 rpm    164 N·m (121 lb·ft) at 1800 rpm    1990-1998

I believe the bore and stroke are the same as the AAZ, but no turbo so it's a bit of a dog, particularly in a heavy chassis like the T4.

Giles can work his magic on the pump, though...   ;-)

Good friend added a turbo to his & installed it in a Isuzu pickup. It's great, & should tune like any turbo idi. the NA engines are built well, piston squiters etc. His is running either a k14 or 24, can't remember & its really nice to drive.

Anyway, easy turbo upgrade, can't say if the turbo bits woould fit in a eurovan tho...

Hey Vince, great wiki page eh?
