Title: WTB:Tan/Brown MK2 interior parts.
Post by: Spulen81 on February 23, 2009, 05:30:57 am
I'm looking for some replacement interior parts for my new Jetta coupe.  Will need pics and I'm looking for

-Jetta rear seat
-front seats.. must flip forward.  Scirocco sport seats would be great.
-Front and rear door panels (2 door)
-carpet

It's a shame, I parted out a MK-II golf 4dr with a very nice tan interior that I kept, but won't work for you.

did you check with the local Watercooled VW club? www.fastdubs.org

anyways, here's a local Syracuse *Wave
maybe see you & your car at the annual VW show in August (http://tinyurl.com/VWCCNY-samba09). I know the images show mostly the vintage side, but we run about 50% H2o as well

I've got some Scirocco tan sport seats in my Caddy that I'll be pulling out. The downside is, I live in TN and would have to ship them. They are in really nice shape, and if I remember the color of the Jetta tan interior, they should be a good match.

There is some superficial wear on the driver's upper bolster: no rips or foam showing through, just a little worn. The foam is good on both too. They just need a little cleaning (couple of oil/dirt spots that will come right out with some Tuff Stuff and a bristle brush). PM me if you're interested.

P.S. Obviously, they flip forward and have the tilting base and extended slider for added legroom.

Shipping could be pricey on them, but I will keep them in mind.  These parts are proving tough to find.  MK2 2 doors with tan seem to be a rare thing these days.

Yeah, I'm thinking it would run about $30-50 each, even if I separate them and ship tops and bottoms in separate boxes.
