Post by: LoneWolf on February 08, 2009, 04:10:00 pm
Hi all,

ive got an AAZ lump with standard turbo in my mk2 gtd, but im having pipework troubles still. the outlet of the turbo is 1.5", whereas my pipework to the inter cooler is 2", can someone please post a couple of photos of how theyve solved this conundrum?

also what do you guys use to hold your pipes on with? ive tried jubilee clips, but the pipes STILL keep blowing off   :?

 cheers,

you can buy transition joiners for pretty cheap(try siliconeintakes.com)

and I use t-bolt clamps, the ones with nuts on them so you can get a wrench on them and get them really tight.

I always bead the pipe ends and use the above mentioned clamps.  That's good for at least 30 psi.

Check eBay for couplers and reducers.

 how do you do this?
