Title: Govner question

(new to the site)
i have a 85 jetta td stock but wanna do the govner mod will there be a diffrence in performance. Because i can tell that my motor wants to go but somethings holding it back.
And is 10 psi normal for a stock td.

thats the whole point of the mod, :) You need to plug the wastegate and turn up the fuel to break 10psi,as well as put a broom handle in the blowoff valve port and clamp it down.10psi is the norm though.

im pretty sure 1.6td don't have bov's
