My 1.9TD (1997 jetta) blow a piston so im parting it out.

Injection pumps : 400 $ (rebuilt about 9000 km on it, cost 695 $ to rebuild) with sprocket with AC

AC compressor: make an offer, heavy

1.9TD head, may need some attention: 100$ heavy

i guess i can part the engine for 3 good usable piston and a crankshaft
timing belt and pully machined about 10 000km before it blows.  Available timing belt, pulley

bought it for my old 1.6td but switched to 1.9td before i use them.
1.6td oil pan with oil return line: 60$
Turbo KKK : 150$
Turbo T3 Garrett: 150$

Do I see cracks from the Prechambers to the valves or is that just oil?

Not bashing on ya just curious is all.

Yea can I get a clean picture of those areas?

I mean for $100 I wont be that picky but if they are bad then I have a $100+ shipping paper weight.

not a bashing, a good concern i dont want to ship a paperweight :P

ill take closer picture...  tell me if its good ... otherwise ill send it to scrap .. but it was working good  in my car until a piston melted!!

ill bring it to my close neighboor vw diesel affocionados hell tell me about... ill get back to you on this
