Title: Mk2 Tachometer into a Mk1 Caddy

Done a search, and found some good info on using like years, GTI to diesel. Problem is, I have a tach from an '85 Jetta. I would like to install into my '82 TD Caddy. Has anyone done the swap? Thanks in advance...
