Title: Should the exhuast mani gaskets etc be replaced at 226k??
Post by: vwautotech on July 24, 2005, 03:11:01 pm
I have a 91 jetta eco diesel and I plan on spending alot of time in the car, and was wondering if I should replace the exhaust gaskets, I'm not sure if it's leaking, also was wondering if anyone had any reccommendations for cleaning diesel smell out of the interior? email me at nolanzzzz@hotmail or you can call 434 996 7643 or post.

my 88 Jetta has almost double that and original gaskets.  They don't leak.  Head is original too.  Block was rebuilt though.
