i have a 1.6 GTD set up in my mk2 scirocco but its had its day, i've just picked up a seat toledo that has a 1.9td AAZ in it. what will i have to do to fit it into my car? i'm assuming i'd have to fit a mk1 golf driver side engine mount but what else would i need to do to fit it into the GTD set up? would my drive shafts bolt onto the AAZ gear box?

Swap the engine, leave the box alone?
No issues then!
Inlet manifold ports are different too remember, so use the 1.9 inlet.

i was gonna just swap the whole lot over (intake, out take and every thing else attached to it, if i have to keep my box i will but its not very healthy tbh and the one on the AAZ has a lot less miles on it and is very smooth. so can i swap to this box or do i have to keep mine?

my aaz to mk1 was a case of using the old box 5 speed dfw code, with the 90mm flanges, the aaz box if it is a chd code box has 100mm flanges,so more involved,i used a T3 off a 1.6td and the car really does go well, ive got 112bhp 159lbft torque

but surely the 90 and 100mm refers to the ends of the drive shaft that goes into the wheel hub not on to the gearbox? i just need to know if my gtd drive shafts will bolt up to the gearbox on the AAZ?
