be verry,verry quiet.....I am hunting VW. Ya, I am looking for a 1.6L turbo diesel. I would like it complete with intake and exhaust manifolds if possible. thanks.....1.9 would work too if anyone knows where i can find one.

Also fill out submissions for online used car parts companies, many of them search through multiple junk yards and you get e-mails back quickly in most cases. Google "used car parts" and you will get abunch of hits.

I am living in Fernie B.C., and am not too picky about what engine I find. I am not looking forward to reboulding an engine, but would rather buy a tired engine in dire need of a R+R, rather than buying a decent runner that will need to be pulled and rebuilt in 18 months. The engine is planned to be put into a small 4x4......TORQUE!!! This rig is running on a 1.3L gas engine............the only time I can speed is through school zones!!!
