Title: AAZ-AHU question

i've been looking for a an AAZ engine to replace my 1.6gtd lump, i've just found a 96 golf td for sale cheap but the seller says it has an AHU engine code, is this the same as the AAZ? and would it still be a direct replacment for my engine?
