I've been drooling over those for some time now.
Wish they matched my existing gauges.
This is a good deal in many ways. Just a reg EGT is close to $170.00 then a boost gauge on top of that.
-
I've been drooling over these for my '06 Golf TDI. It would look sweet with the guage holder that goes in the left side A/C vent.
-
how much would it be posted to the uk?

For something that has no nutritional value this gauge seems to elicit a pavlovian response in many a dieseler (myself included)... :D

Make it look like the Autometer Ulrtalite II?

Holy! that's a lot of dough. I paid 50$ for EGT and 15$ for boost. Seperate gauges mind you.
Wow, I didn't know gauges could be $200 each!
-
Eddy, didn't you notice that the boost pressure portion of the gauge is electrical with a remote sender? Add in the EGT part of the gauge and you've got one pricey gauge.
-
That and these are TOP quality gauges.

If you ever had this gauge in your hand you would understand this is a top quality instrument...the bezel is machined and anodized billet, the case housing the electronics appears to be turned on a lathe even the Mode button is a machined piece....IMHO this is top of the line very accurate High quality EGT/boost gauge, ya' get what ya' pay for....

You also have cheap vw's and "top of the line" vw's :P
I'm very cheap :P to me, 20psi on a dial is the same as a reading of 20 psi, remotely sent to an electronic display
As for lathed and machined buttons? no comment.
Sweet gauge none the less (of course!!!!) Mad Props.

I have SERIOUSLY considered selling my Auto meter stuff and picking these up.
I could get 6 gauges in 3 holes... And at this point I have put SO much money in this car why the hell not?
-
*sigh*
if only it said IDI boost instead of TDI boost...
-
Actually this one only says PSI boost....maybe they dropped the "TDI" boost to widen the market appeal?.... :?

Actually I'm going for something cheaper myself although not by much....by the time I've bought separate EGT and boost gauges I will have spent within $60 of this gauge.....going with VDO for the factory look, I also have plenty of room in the GTI console.....

Nice.
My gauges are totally odd balls. mostly "Type R" except for one which means crapper-ware basically. Super inexpensive (cheap :P) gauges. I'm going to change all the lights in them to blue LED's though to match the EGT gauge which actually looks nice

The white ones are poorly designed and were very cheap (barely light up). Brighter blue LED's will do them up nicely though. Sorry about the pic i used my cell.
Perhaps.... HID? 8)

Man that looks cool!!....information is information as long as you know how to interpret it....your doin' way better than a dummy light :D
