nope.  all TDI's will have the TDI sprocket (at least the north american TDI's anyway) 6k for a '99 jetta... hmmm  must be in good shape!  with gas prices falling, and it being so difficult to get a loan, car prices must be falling dramatically.  i know GM has stockpiles of cars in lots because they just can't sell their heaps of junk.

They do seem do be going down in price.  http://www.trader.ca/powerpage/details.aspx?vlotid=1249212&adid=7386470  4 grand for a 98 at a dealer no less.

Here in the States in Good times you can't get a loan for a car with more than 100K miles. Yes, prices are falling like the changes for the Big 3 to survive.
