Title: Return's issue. anyone had this experience?
Post by: Smokey Eddy on November 20, 2008, 08:45:31 pm
I bought a few parts from http://www.importcarpartscanada.ca/ and I'm having just a terrible time trying to return an item they sent me that wasn't what i ordered.
I emailed them, got a reply saying I will recieve an email about making a return. I waited two days, still no return information email...
I sent another asking when i should expect to recieve this email but I don't know if it's ever going to happen. It should almost be automatic in my opinion if they're trying to keep PR up.

Has anyone else had this problem with this company or any company?
(a return problem)

My advice:  phone 'em.  They don't seem to read their email, but they were amazingly quick when I actually picked up the phone and called 'em direct.

Again, i'm sorry for posting here.
I'll call them. I just got home i hope they aren't closed already.
Cool UPS will be here monday to pick up my item. I'm surprised that site is not affiliated with this forum. it's the best site i've found. You can choose what brand you want and they ship that day with UPS and it was all packaged really well and very affordable. My return problem was a rare mistake. The item had the wrong part # sticker on it because they ran out of the other kind. Other than that, excellent service, remarkable ship time and decent price.

really sorry for posting here. I was tired and not thinking.

I should leave my phone number in my signature in case something like this ever happens again. I didn't know you guys would get so upset

It's not a big deal Mr Eddy, no one died.

If they didn't charge you for the part and I made the first attempt to return it I would just keep it.

I always deal with those guys if we can't get the parts through work.

The email system was just really really delayed. I got like 4 emails in 2 hours and everything was easily sorted out. UPS is coming to my house to pick up the wrong part and i'm being given my money back. Pretty good system they have.
All i do is tape a piece of paper to the box everything came in and put the wrong part back in it i think.
