just thought i'd post it here... price looks pretty cheap for the condition of that pump... wonder what its from?[/code]
-
Not sure what it is from...but from the listed P/N it is a left turning pump instead of the right turning up we need.
The plunger and authentic 12mm Bosch head, spring, and camplate assembly would be well worth the current asking price though...and then some. As well as some other bits.

It looks like the accelerator lever is reversed and so the aneroid won't work on a VW. It also looks like it is a CCW rotation pump and so the plunger and head will not work for a VW either. The boost pin would likely be useful.

thats a shame :(

awwwwww... I was in on first bid for that.... for $11.00 it was worth it for parts.
-
any speculation on what this was originally mounted on? were the eighties rangers turbo'd?
-
According to the internetz it may be from an Iveco LDV.

so being new to td and an idiot with no patience i won this item.sooooo can anything be done with this thing or do i have a $75 paper weight?any help would be great.live and learn.............
-
well the pump top could probably be used to convert a 1.6 N/A pump to TD... but thats about it i think...
too bad you couldn't use the 12mm head... being authentic bosch it would be worth $100+ to the right person... or a pretty sick upgrade for a 1.6!

here's one that'll work... but it looks like there wasn't any care taken to keep dirt out of the pump... so it could most likely benefit from a complete overhaul...
