Title: 96 Passat TD AAZ not shutting of with key

my passat 96 aaz doesn't turn off with the key (neither turns on)
i have to put 12v on the solenoid en then it turn on, and of when i get the 12v of of it.

I allready placed a new ignition swith but still notting.

Is there a relay or something involved ???

Could be a bad connection at the fuse block. I had that on my last vw diesel, so I bought a new fuse block, and ended up not putting it in the car, for other reasons.

could be loose terminals on the ignition switch plug.This was the problem on my dads 95 passat aaz.

It could also be the glow plug relay (If it's the same as the 1.6 GP relay controls)

which relay is this ? maybe a picture ?
