Is the torque the same for turbo & non turbo rod bolts? My book is old and doesn't cover that.

Looking at it right now.
Connecting rod cap to connecting rod...30Nm (22ft.lb.) +1/4 turn (90deg.)
Does not say for either diesel or TD or gas. Straight from the Bentley.

sorry for the big picture, but this is what I set them to...33ft/lbs. I think they have some that are a stretch bolt and some not, so it would depend on which ones you have. Look at the bottom page and you'll see connecting rod to cap spec.

A question about piston to wall clearance. It says .001". That's pretty tight. I find it hard to believe that things are held to that tight of tolerance in a production enviornment. What's the real tolerance and how would you ever know if it was knocking?
