Title: Reccomendations on replacing the turbo -> intake pipe?
Post by: Jettagli16v on October 30, 2008, 09:56:25 am
The rubber tube from my turbo outlet to the intake manifold was old and brittle and dripping diesel juice all over the intake.

I Bought a 2" silicone 45,
trimmed it down, but it does not work too well:
1) impossible to install without a slight flattening of the hose
2) turbo outlet is bigger than intake manifold inlet.

Any ideas of a nice hose that will work here?*

**Other than a FMIC!!

You can get a silicone 90 that is larger on one end.
2.25 on one end and 2 on the other..

Is that what you need?

Holy cow!  Thanks for posting that link - I've been looking everywhere for components to build a new intake duct & was having a very hard time finding what I needed.  This place looks great!  :D

Im going to double check my measurements and buy one.
I think I may need a 2" X 1.75" or maybe a 2" X 2".
Anyone know off the top of their head for Garrett T3 TD?

Thanks a lot, ZukGod!
