Title: Rescuing Hostboard Topics
Post by: RedRotors on May 06, 2004, 04:42:58 am: Don't worry, the Hostboard won't be closed until we save the posts one way or an other. I have emailed the site admin to ask them to provide the database and if someone is able to make a script to translate into phpBB, on in a HTML form ( as i said in an other message ) we will add it into the new board.

Right now, i'm alone to do everything, so that's why everything is going slow. If someone want to take the lead with the database transfert, just add your reply.. :)

i've been told i'm web-savvy... i can lend a hand. not with the database.. not my thing.. but if you need anything else let me know.

i'm busy with work/car etc etc (you know how it goes) but this board has been a big help to me so i'd like to help out!

Anyway, I'll still try running the website ripper leater on today.

I'm quite busy between job interviews (one wednesday morning, one tomorrow ....)
