Title: Fs: unknown ID on an idi IP. missing parts.
Post by: Smokey Eddy on October 19, 2008, 01:00:08 pm
I picked this baby up for free. It's siezed. I hope its not worthless; I don't want to try and sell garbage to someone on here so here is a picture of it

If anyone wants it let me know.
It looks like it's missing all sorts of parts so maybe a vendor wants it, I dunno? It still has the plunger though which may be of use.
what dimesion dictates its "size"  ie: 8mm
It's just sitting on my table ATM and I figured one of you guys would have a better use for it than that.
I'd give it away for free if I could afford to run my car but I can't   so any offer is very appreciated.
It still has all the internals. I opened it up to have a looksie: it looks ok on the inside but I can't spin it by hand.If anyone wants more or specific pictures post post post

Look for the bosch number
0 460 4x4 yyy

It's the x that tells you the punger size. The other numbers might be a bit different but I'm pretty sure it should start with 0 460

All* IDI automotive VWs in NA are 9mm except for the mk2 eco diesel which is 8mm.
So 9 mm.

*Might not be all; VW and Bosch are really good at randomly making a change for no reason, and I'm not sure about the 1.5L
