Title: guages
Post by: turborabbit on October 03, 2008, 07:42:52 pm
Hey, folks, I'm new to this forum, but I love rabbit pickups! Is "caddy" the proper nomenclature?? I have 5 of them-3 diesels-2 gas. Just got my '81 back on the road again-I ringed and inserted a 1.6L turbo I found in a "T-boned" Jetta, I bought from pullapart. I stuck it in my pickup and am very pleased with the extra power. Still working on my first tank, but will check fuel economy soon. I am looking for a suitable tach for it-any ideas?? In fact it needs a full set of guages. When I put the engine in, I drove it for a week and lost the original rings to a stopped up oil intake at the pump!! Any ideas or comments will be appreciated-thanks-warren
