how much will new rings/bore affect the compression?I was under the impression that i wouldnt need the glow plugs to start it.It isnt broken in yet.

What tempurature is the engine / air when you are trying to start sans G.P. ?

it'll take a little bit for the rings to seat, and before then the compression will be a bit lower...  totalseal sells some quickseat dry lube stuff that seems to do the trick fairly quickly...

Ya rings take close to 5k to be fully seated.

First 500 miles are really important..

Its about 60-65degrees F.So do you guys think theyre needed(glow plugs)
