Hello,

The car is in perfect condition. The amount you will have to pay in order to own this car is $3,200 with shipping costs and insurance included. The car is at shipping center from Calgary/AB.
It sealed and ready to be shipped. Shipping to your location will be made through eBay shipping company and will be take 3 days. They will handle the transaction for me.
You will make the payment to eBay and they will hold the money until you will receive the car. ONLY AFTER you will receive and test for 10 days the car, eBay will release the money to me. This way we are both protected.
I don't have the car listed on eBay. I only have the car at eBay shipping company.

KM: 83,750
VIN: 3VWSR69M04M078141
Engine: 1.9L L4 FI Turbo
Transmission: Automatic
Fuel type: Diesel

I just finished the divorce process with my husband and as a single woman I don't need this car. I am living now at my parents. Right now I am in Austin/TX, United States.
I am in a wheel-chair. It was an accident two years ago. In fact this is the divorce reason. My husband told me that he want a young and healthy woman because I have 35 years and he don't need me anymore. I know that the price is soo cheap but I need money asap for an operation in China because I have a chance to walk again and I don't want to lose it.

You will also receive all the documentation required for registration. I will send you all the papers and documents. Since it is at eBay I have to make the transaction through them.

For I can start the deal at eBay I only need your full name and shipping address and after that eBay will send you the invoice.

I'll wait your decision regarding my car as soon as possible.

Looking forward to hear from you,
Melinda Koenig

Guaranteed scam.  There was an article in the Cambridge paper a few weeks ago about a couple who bought a car from an almost identical ad and ended up getting shafted.  They use "eBay" to make people feel comfortable about the transaction but it isn't legit.  BTW, there is no "ebay shipping company".

for that price, i'd expect the automatic transmission to be grenaded or something...  totally destroyed!! then that price becomes a little more believable...  some people are that stupid

or maybe they ran the wrong oil and have camshaft issues... stupid noobs going to those quickie lubes to change oil for their PD's!!!

but either way its total deception...

I actually emailed a person that had one on Craigslist in Atlanta a few months back just to see the reply. It was almost VERBATIM.  Funny.

Don't forget, the listing is in the Peterborough Kijiji, the car is in Calgary, and the seller is in Texas - according to the ad.  This type of scam is being carried out from a few central locations.  Because of the beauty of the internet, they can pretend to be anywhere.  I don't know this to be true, but have heard that a lot of these scams actually originate in Europe or Russia.

We had a rental property listed on the local rental web site... someone cloned the the ad, pictures, address,  but halved the rent.

People that emailed them got a story about "can't show you the house 'cause we're out of the country, send us a big deposit and we'll send you the keys."

We had a several different sets of people drop by to see the house while we were repainting and were kinda annoyed at us when we told them the real rent.  One said "wow you speak English really well for someone from Nigeria".  One was about to mail the money... just stopped by to look thru the windows.

If it looks too good to be true.. guess what.. !!!

Actually, I've seen info showing that alot of these internet scams are coming from Nigeria and countries around it like Chad and Ghana.

Wow that's scary! It would have been a big mess if someone went ahead and sent the deposit!  :o

Yeah, we had the same concern... although we figured they would wait a long long time for the actual keys.  ;-)
