Nice enough truck, but isn't he a little high on his price? I know he's done a pile of work, but it might not be worth as much to others as it is to him.
BTW clbanman, is that a Cambridge built truck in you avatar? Komdresco by chance?

he's a fool for selling... unless he's REALLY strapped for cash.  you'd never get out what you put in  :(  thats a really nice truck... hopefully someone who will care for it gets it.

Guelph built.  Used to be Euclid, now Hitachi.  Komdresco (Komatsu/Dresser) closed up in Cambridge and moved to the southern US a few years back.   Ours are better

Ended with buy it now.  Surprised me, I had this pegged as a no-sale.

Yes, I know about the move south, better than 15 years ago. When the plant closed I had a truck on with Frederick transport, machinery division out of Dundas(Clappison's Corners). We hauled a lot of stuff to Illonois (south of Peoria I think)out of that plant. Best load was the gantry cranes, almost 14 feet wide. Quite a parade with 2 trucks and two escort vehicles....  Didn't know the Euclid plant was still in operation. The municipality I work for has a couple of old (50's?) Euclids in the gravel pit.

Our smallest truck is a 43 ton, the largest current production is a 300 ton (payload).  The smallest diesel engine we use puts out 750 HP.
