a while back i set my e brake too high and it got stuck while i was trying to release it i lost all action in my e brake. i can lift it up and down without it grabing or clicking or anything. i took the boot off to try and fix it but didnt have any luck i have since lost the boot and insert for the inside of the e brake handle. (the button part with the spring)
1) where can i buy the new parts so i can fix it.
2) how do i fix it?

Get used parts, they are better. VW changed thier design of the ebrake over the years so make sure you get the right parts. I think yours is more the MK1 style, but it's been a while since I worked on an early mk2 Golf

you dont happen to have what im looking for do you?

I don't think so. If you could find all the pieces I can tell you how to put it back together again

I've got this era of Golf parts up the bunk!!!! I'll give you what you need if you pay the freight. There would be a few days lag time of acquistion of the parts and then getting them shipped, etc.
But, pm me with specifics. Unless you have closer alternatives. Your choice.
