Thought you all might enjoy this ad I found in the January 1982 Superbowl 16 program.

That whole ad seethes with common sense. Throw that on an ad agent's desk today and they'd all drop to the floor from seizures  :D

Hey, it would blow the doors off my friends Datsun Diesel pickup from the same period, plus start faster as well.

Funny that you should mention that.  In the same magazine was a Datsun diesel truck ad.  Here it is:

anyone notice that that ad also said that highway milage will probably be less too
