We need a Septic to Limey language translater on here!
It really bugs me when I download software and it asks for the install language and it says "English US" I don't want English US, I want English where we spell Colour properly! The language we have thats full of S's instead of Z's (Thats Zed's by the way, not Zee's!)

We call them Spigot shafts, you probably call them input shafts!
mind you, we call them a gearbox, you calls them a Transaxle, then go and shorten it to Tranny, which means something completely different here!
"Bumming a fag" means borrowing a cigarette here, I don't think I would say that on the other side of the pond though....

Yeah, they're usually input shafts and pilot bearings. :D

We had an exchange student on the bus a week ago hunting up cigarettes like that... he didn't get what he was expecting! :D

And of course Canada is in the middle... it's an "input shaft" and "tranny"  but "colour".

Canada does agree with the US that when a Limey speaks about "steak and kidney pie" he's referring to "food poisoning".

Parts of your body that are made to filter piss or blood in my eyes should not be consumed, same as those "bottom feeders" prawns.

PorkPies are much nicer, or a good Fidget pie...
Your making me hungry now see.

Having chatted about cars with an ozzy friend of mine for years (till unfortunate things happened, rest his soul) I've picked up some of this, but other things are so far over my head.

I do, however, fill my tank with petrol, check engine oil under the bonnet, get things from the boot, and watch the world rallye championships.  sometimes I check my tyres as well.
