Title: newbie with a 1.6gtd caddy,help needed

hi fellas iv recognised a few names off the caddy website and got told this is where the diesel gods hung out,the engine is currently out of the vehicle as im getting evrything done to it before i cram it in,iv made a custom 2 1/2inch downpipe and got myself a custom intercooler,iv looked up on here how to do the pump mod,cutting the bolt??or something and i cant find anything,governor mod etc?and i dont want to nacker my pump up by doing it,also i was told there is like a valve in the manifold that im ment to put a bolt in?,all help apreciated thanks fellas adam

this is the link for the pump tweaking i did it it works very well i still havent increased my boost though :(

oiroight dude!

I've got a full word doc with pics on all the various mods.

Gov mod, block the BOV and wind up the boost, turn or grind the boost pin and tweak the fuel screw and you are knocking on 120 brake mark.

My caddy 1.6GTD was quick enough to leave mk1 gti's.   :lol:
