Thats about it... I searched the board but didn't find any... anyone knows of one ?

so you have a AAZ pump and you want to put in a different AAZ pump on the car?

exactly... I'm not concerned about taking the other off and putting the new on ...

My concern is more about re-timing it and making sure it starts again...

sorry if it looks dimb... Im very new to diesel

Buy a Bently manual.

You have to pull the timing belt, which means the engine need to be retimed.

Its almost impossible to do with out those tools.

If you can't /  won't buy the tools and manual, take it to some one who has the right tools and have them do it for you so you don't screw it up.

Depending on whay style of pump you have you may be able to get away with all the above tools. If you have a 2 piece pump pulley you don't need any special timing tools because the pump comes pre-timed.

I won't bother writing up the proceedure unless you actually have the 2 piece pulley. Are you sure both of your AAZ pumps use the same pulley (either 1 or 2 piece)
