Is it feasible??
Just wondering. :D

ANYTHING is feasible.
I've seen it done so go for it.
Would like to do the same thing myself.

cut and weld job as the rails have a different width on one side and the center section is completely different.
a mk3 golf only differs on the rail width, so its easier, you only have to cut one leg off the old mk2 seats and weld it on the mk3 ones.

There are some nice black leather Passat front seats on ebay right now for $175. Shipping was $150 from Ohio to South Carolina. I'm going to pass, if I have to cut and weld to make them fit. I was told that Corrado seats are a simple bolt-in, so I guess I'll keep looking.

There is a good DIY on the vortex for swapping MKIII seats into an MKII (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2827431), B4 Passats may not be that different, I think they are wider though. Some info on the rear seats here (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1347697) and here (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3620549&postid=44717898#44717898), again a B4 Passat is going to be wider than an MKII.

Those are nice seats but you can get them for less money.
