Title: WTB: Usable 1.6 TD shortblock - worn out is fine - near ohio

Looking for a 1.6 TD shortblock, crank, int shaft and rods would be good but bare is fine too.

I need somthing that can be bored out 1 more time or more

I need it quick too, like asap.

Actually the last time I drive to Canada the one I brought back was an NA block with no squirters which is why I'm back in the market. I'm definitely in the habit of checking block codes every time from now on based on that.

$50 bucks is a damn good deal tho. Would you consider shipping it FEDEX?
I'd pay freight.

sorry for the mistake myke, I guess the PO did a complete turbo swap to a n/a, and I thought it was a TD. it even had the oil cooler, turbo sticker,and turbo pump. sorry for my ignorance.

I won't ship the block tho. one of the pistons is rusted in the bore and will need to be removed (I haven't tried) it will definately need a hone atleast.

no worries, I just need to be sure from now on. I chalk it up to a learning experience. BTW The turkey dinner at your place made it all worthwhile, and I got alot of other good parts off it.

You think this one is usable tho? will the piston come out of the bore?

If you go up, bring me back one or two.  I'll pay for your time and trouble.  It's easier for me to get from Atlanta to Ohio than Atlanta to Canada.  I'm always scared of customs, too.
