so the throttle is sticking in the pump, iam pretty brain dead as far as the pumps, but its not a run away or anything, and its not the cable. i pulled the cable off and moved the lever and sticks like that as well, has anyone else had this problem? how did they solve it?

I had this problem once, all I did was spray some WD40 around the throttle shaft. I haven't had the problem since. Hope this helps.

Check to see if the springs are binding too. Sometimes they can cause the shaft to move slowly or even get stuck. WD40 on those might help as well.

yeah it was just the springs, i sprayed some lube on and now it feels weird to drive because it takes so little effort to depress the gas pedal
