Title: AP engine code?

Hi,
Just got a motor from a 04 Jetta TDI and stamped into the block on the exhaust manifold side it says AP. I thought VW used three letter designation for it's engines. Any specs on this?

It's probably a BEW engine code, I never see AP code, even in europe.

There are some Vag motor with only 2 letter code, most are 3 letter.

I finally found the code stamp its BEW. I just can't find if it's PD 100.

BEW's are PD100 1.9 engines.  :)
