Title: WTB ashtray metal tab thingy

I need the metal clip that pushes into the ashtray and rides on the metal piece in the dash.  Thanks.

I'd like to.  I've been working on the body's rust and every time I get into it, it turns out to be a big ordeal.  For example, today I am replacing the hatch with a rust free specimen, take it off and find cancer around the brackets.  Obviously one of the reasons it leaked like a sieve.  So out comes the headliner, rear carpet, rear seat, etc.   So I guess what I am trying to say is the next few weeks (maybe months) will be taken up by body prep.  I've got to get it painted before this winter and salt season. It may be months before I can pay you a visit.   :(

there's a trick to keeping those little metal ash tray things from breaking....you can either sand down the little nylon slider button so it moves up the "ramp" easier....or hammer the slider track so the ramp is not so steep, then lube it with some candle wax....works like a charm
