Title: Bolt on mTDI pump?
Post by: ThomZe on June 25, 2008, 05:43:03 pm
Is a  0460494277 VW

Bosch VE pump from a 1999 T4 bolt on? It's cable throttle steared and have no electronics however..

Would that make a direct fit on my tdi engine? 1z\ahu

Okay, I don't have a "program" or anything to check the number in so I don't know :) if it's just a ordinary 1.9td\aaz pump then it's of no use :(

Have you looked at this post:  http://vwdiesel.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=14717

I can give you minimal info on + or - bolt on M-pump, if you see one for sale,  ask the vendor for the P/N and tell me the number, It's the best and easy way to go to M-TDI.

Can you change the timing spring to get a more desirable timing curve for the M-TDI pump?
