Title: Turbo Rebuild stuff
Post by: zukgod1 on June 20, 2008, 01:28:44 pm
Ok I know this topic has been covered at different points but I still have yet to find a good place to get rebuild kits from.

What's the chance of finding out where Jake (I think it was him) was getting his from?
That full contact bushing he had would rock and as of yet I haven't been able to find a single kit that offers that same bushing.

It's too risky and if it goes bad you aren't just losing the turbo but possibly the whole engine

That makes sense, my situation is a tad different though. I have a turbo guy, I bring parts and it gets put together :) I just need the parts, he doesn't or can't get KKK parts.Garett all day long.

Another great reason for an intercooler.  It'll catch the big pieces.

Alamo turbocharger in WA state said they could get the KKK kit for my K14 for about $100 but would be a bit of a wait since it'd be coming from Germany.
