Title: 1981 vw pickup diesel instrument cluster wiring schematics

anyone know what the 14 wires on the instrument cluster of an 81 vw rabbit diesel pickup are specifically for?

i'm trying to splice in a 1985  a2 jetta turbo diesel cluster, which also has 14 wires, but 2 terminals instead of 1 (rabbit).... and none of the wire colors match up.

the only rabbit bentleys i have cover the gasoline models only


can anyone help or check their bentleys if they have this info?
