Title: TD Golf Auto-X vids.
Post by: geetus on May 21, 2008, 08:14:00 pm
Couple of vids of the auto-x here in Moncton tonight. I found out how sloppy my suspension really is. It is hard to see, but for most of the time I was up on 3 wheels. Still held my own though againts some tough odds.

yeah the Mk3 do have some body roll.  Don't worry so much about only 3 wheels on the ground.  A dog wizzin on a post is just how a VW is, even when you put stiffer springs on it.

when you get on 2 wheels, that's when you need to be worried.  I've done that with my 98 Jetta with stock suspension, sticky tires & bad shocks in some quick offsets.  The exit cone went under the car but I did not knock the cone over.
