Hehe- it would be worth it just for the Volvo engine crate- at the dealership that I worked, we did Volvos too, the engine crates are really heavy duty, with piano hinged lid and reinforced steel edges.  ;)  Would make a swell tool box.  :)

I though I saw somewhere that Volvo diesels are vw/audiis.  Is this true?  Also, I was told to stay away from Volvo diesels for biodiesel - any idea about these things?

They are VW Diesels, same pistons as the 1.6 VW TD, but 6 banger instead of 4.

What about the 240 diesels - are those 4 cyl or six?

  Non turbo six cylinder.
