I have an MCI head and I was wondering how to find out if it is a 1.5 liter head or 1.6 liter head. This is supposedly a newly manufactured head for a 1.5 liter motor. I finally did a compression test. Guess what, there is no compression. I only got a 100 psi reading on cylinder #2 and the rest were no reading at all. I tried putting oil in the hole and there was no difference. So it looks like this head is not functioning correctly, which is a shame because it looks brand new. Perhaps this is actually a 1.6 liter head, would that contribute to no compression, or is it just a valve problem?
